About Mark J. Goldsmith

Mark J. Goldsmith graduated from the State University of New York at Albany and earned his Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 1983. Admitted to practice law in New York since 1984, Mr. Goldsmith is also authorized to practice before the U.S. District Courts of the Eastern, Southern, and Northern Districts of New York, as well as the U.S. Federal Court of Claims in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Goldsmith's legal journey began as a commercial litigator and negligence trial lawyer at Siben & Siben in Bay Shore, New York. In 1988, he co-founded the law firm of Jakubowski, Robertson & Goldsmith, where he has excelled as a trial attorney, focusing on negligence and commercial litigation, along with handling various transactional matters.

Serving as general counsel to notable local businesses such as Watermill Caterers and Cancos Tile Corporation, Mr. Goldsmith is highly respected for his legal acumen and dedication to his clients. He frequently appears in the specialized commercial claims parts of the State Supreme Court and has been appointed as Receiver and Referee in numerous cases by Suffolk County Supreme Court judges.
