"My kids have always utilized the club. BUT IT IS ABSOULUTLEY ASSANINE TO ME, AS A PARENT, THAT I CANNOT SEND MY 7 YR OLD TO PLAY AT THE CLUB DURING THE SUMMER. HOW CAN THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB BE CLOSED TO KIDS, UNLESS THAT CHILD IS BEING PAID FOR AS 'DAYCARE', WHERE ELSE DO THE KIDS HAVE TO PLAY AROUND HERE? AND, ISNT THAT WHAT THE YEARLY MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES? OR IS MORE LIKE A 9 MONTH MEMBERSHIP? THESE KIDS NEED A POSITIVE PLACE TO PLAY, WHERE THEY ARENT SURROUNDED BY DRUGS AND DYSFUNCTION... FOR SOME, ITS THEIR ONLY HOPE. SHAME ON U, SAHMMMMMMMME ON U FOR DENYING THEM THIS. GET A DAMNNNN GRANT FOR THE SUMMER STUFF. U KNOW THEYRE OUT THERE."
