"Far exceeded my expectations for a "country clinic". Don't get caught up in titles. I have complete confidence in these amazing, dedicated, and experienced nurses, the physician's assistant, and family nurse practitioner. I can't say that I have ever seen the M.D. But I couldn't care less. The M.D. has to review everything. But everyone knows who does the meat and potatoes of healthcare these days: nurses, PAs, and NPs. I have been seeing them for years since I moved to the area. I get better, more in depth and respectful care from those professionals than I ever got from most of the so-called Family or Primary Care M.D.'s in Syracuse,Utica/Rome/NHD, University of North Carolina/Chapel Hill, or Chicago! I have a complex situation but these pros don't blink an eye! They really take into account your insurance situation and my experience with Crystal Ferguson in particular is that she is particularly savvy in dealing with insurance company madness."
"Jessica Kast is the best primary care provider that I have ever had. This place really cares about your wellbeing. I always get through when I need something and all of my needs are met. Everyone there is thorough, professional, and kind! I recommend this place to everyone."
"The front desk is disorganized. Refferals to places that don't accept my families insurance, recommendations for a same day physical to practices that don't even offer physicals, scheduling unnecessary appointments and tons of automated calls. Long wait times to schedule appointments over the phone. Some of the nurses are great, and very kind. I had Jessica Kast as a PCP and wasn't happy with her. She allows her personal beliefs to get in the way of good medical practice. Im actually in the process of filing a formal complaint against her because of this. She recommended a medication for me that my insurance continuously refused to pay for. Instead of recommending a generic version or a different medication with the same ingredients, she refused to prescibe (she just "doesn't believe in prescribing the name brand" because she doesn't like it) and instead sent me on a goose chase trying to get into multiple other practices with refferals. Ultimately, when I told her I was switching my PCP, she purposely gave me the wrong number to the new practice I had previously requested , and lied about being able to give a referral without the other practice asking her for one specifically. She also frequently participates in body shaming and pressure and encourages disordered eating."
