"Was referred to see Dr Haasbeek from another orthopedic because he doesn’t do surgery on thumbs and Haasbeek said they won’t see me because it is a second opinion. How can it be a second opinion when there is a referral from a doctor. When the staff calls me (Leslie) they are very rude and she does not explain anything. She just says your appointment is cancelled because the doctor doesn’t do second opinions. If this is how they treat people I definitely wouldn’t want them to help me."

"Got referred after a nerve conduction test for a carpal tunnel referral. The doctor didn't listen to a word I said, and said let's try some hand therapy first without tests or listening to any of my conditions or any other problems that I had. Basically a robot, doesn't listen at all. Horrible experience."

"He was great at first, but after months of physical therapy with worsening pain, he told me it was "probably just a sprain" and stopped my care. A year later it turns out that the bones in my hand are separating and now there's nothing we can do. The hand therapists are absolutely amazing though."
