"I had a very disappointing experience with Tender Age PT, particularly with their evaluator. From the start, I felt judged and blamed for my son's speech delay simply because I mentioned that I let him watch Ms. Rachel during diaper changes. As a mom to a child with special needs, it's already challenging, and to have someone make me feel guilty for using an educational show to keep things manageable was infuriating. The evaluator also insisted multiple times on conducting the evaluation in our home, despite my clear and repeated refusals due to our living circumstances and an anxious dog. This disregard for my concerns felt unprofessional and disrespectful. One of the most troubling aspects of the experience was her advice to force spoon-feed my son because I mentioned that he was becoming picky with certain foods and textures. Despite my explanation that my son was already self-feeding, she insisted on this approach. After consulting with several other professionals, I learned that this advice could have caused more harm by creating food aversions and negative associations with feeding. Ultimately, this evaluator wasted our time by delaying the evaluation (even though I said it was okay to do the evaluation right after my surgery) and denying my son the services he needed. After seeking a second evaluation, my son is now receiving full services, including speech, OT, PT, and special instruction—no thanks to Tender Age PT. To make matters worse, the report she wrote was riddled with errors, including incorrect names for both me and my son's father. It made me wonder if she simply copied and pasted from another child's report. This experience taught me to always be my son's loudest advocate, but it shouldn't have come at the expense of valuable time and resources. I cannot recommend Tender Age PT based on this experience, and I hope no other parent has to go through what we did."

"Tender Age PT has been incredible to our family. They helped guide me through the Early Intervention and were able to provide guidance on the CPSE process for our district. They are patient, kind and all of the owners and many therapists have personal experience with needing services for their children. We had initially had our first set of evaluations through a different local agency and we found them to have little compassion. Tender Age is the complete opposite. They know our son, they remember him, they care deeply about his journey and success."
