"I referred this doctor to a few friends of mine and they all came back to me with positive feedback. From what I’ve heard back from them was that the front desk could use a bit more attention but Dr. Shehla Shabnam herself was a great person to deal with and they said they even recommended her to their colleagues"

"I’m not one to leave bad reviews but I have to, communication is severely lacking in this location. I book an appointment a little over a week out and was double confirmed by two different people to come in and be told a bunch of malarkey and wasted my time. There is a team there and no one communicates about appointments they book????? I had to call them and give them an earful after having to leave the location and then you wanna talk to the doctor about getting her to see me???? No. It’s too late to save face. Felt a little racist too if I’m being honest."

"1-My first sonogram the tech told me she was probably confirming a miscarriage before looking at me or my chart, 6 weeks pregnant. All of my pregnancies never had heartbeat till 9-10 weeks. 2- i asked the Doctor to check my chart on what my babies neck was measuring, because i had the test done weeks prior without them following up to my results. To which she told me- she does not have results “you have to call your other doctor”. This test was done in her office. She was pretending to read my file saying it was not there- it was on the TOP PAGE she was pretending to read. 3- Two appointments ago i asked her what her credentials are because she was unable to answer questions about csection process- she told me shes not a doctor shes a journalist (she was not joking by her face or tone of voice)Turns out she IS MY DOCTOR. So why she said that im not sure. 4- Then i asked her to read over my BP log. As shes scrolling past a reading 150/110 shes telling me my results look great. I pointed to that specific result and she was taken back and said i need to do the bp twice if somthing like that comes up. Which i did and noted it ON THE LOG. I then pointed that out. 5-Went in for emergency appointment a few days ago, had bloody discharge. They had me pee in a cup, dipstick it myself, and give it to the medical assistant to run through the machine. (No wipes etc for sterile sample) The doctor came in, saying to go to the ER. checked the baby, and didnt even do a vaginal exam AND didnt check my urine results. Changed her mind about the ER. She stuck a dry large qtip up my vagina and said theres no visible blood and i can go home. I said “well what about my urine results. I seen theres blood” bc i watched the MA run it through the machine. She said “ok i will check but theres no note of it so you can go” (as shes pretending to scan my record- but the MA DID NOTE IT IN MY CHART AND I WATCHED HER DO IT) She dismissed me- And went to her office without going to the medical assistant lab to check my urine. So i went to the lab, double checked, busted in her office and said “Theres blood in my urine so now what” SHE TOLD ME TO GO TO URGENT CARE. She didnt even want to re run my urine or treat the problem. so i sat in urgent care for two hours with a bunch of sick people. Did a sterile urine sample, and my urine is 100% clean. The blood came back in the first sample at the ob office because there WAS blood in my vagina (just not visible to the eye) and she didnt run a sterile sample of either. if she was thorough enough & gave a vaginal exam, re ran urine while i was in the office (and not asking after i switched practices already), she would know exactly why i was bleeding. Between her telling me she is a journalist when she is a DOCTOR when directly asked, and not being sure how to take course of action to vaginal blood during about 29 weeks of pregnancy. This seems like shes developing early onset dementia. I request my medical records; i pick up my records and she has the MA ask to run my urine (after all of that- when i was there a few hours earlier and already went to urgent care) so i said NO. She didnt care to do it while i was there, she didnt care to even CHECK! I CHECKED MYELF AND BROUGHT IT TO HER ATTENTION AFTER DISMISSING ME. i get 4 phone calls. 3/4 from her employees asking my results from urgent care. 1/4 from the doctor herself. Who asked me three times the results where i repeated each time “you are no longer my doctor. My results will be sent to my new doctor”. Then she asked me what medications the urgent care gave me, i hung up on her and blocked the phone number. Im not sure if she wasn’t understanding what i was saying, or was just trying to be persistent because she lost a patient that had been going to her office 3-4 years now. But it was clear she did not care until i requested my records. I was going to leave this situation alone and simply move on with my life-she reported me to a mental health clinic for leaving her practice for her negligence when within one hour i had a new doctor."

"I’ve been waiting for my biopsy results. I was told that I couldn’t be seen in person because of my high insurance deductible and that I would receive a phone call. 2 days in a row never happened. I need my biopsy results and I shouldn’t have to have the procedure done again elsewhere."
