Dr. Ghobrial, a native of Nutley, NJ, has an impressive educational background, having completed an accelerated 7-year combined Bachelor of Science and Medical Degree program at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He was recognized for his academic excellence by being inducted into the Psi Sigma Alpha and Sigma Sigma Phi National Medical Honor Societies. Further honing his skills, he completed his internship and residency at Rowan University-SOM/Jefferson Health, where he received specialized training in various orthopedic subspecialties, including trauma surgery.
With a particular focus on hip and knee reconstruction, Dr. Ghobrial pursued advanced fellowship training at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore, specializing in hip and knee replacements and revisions. Under the mentorship of renowned surgeon Dr. Marc Hungerford, he mastered the Minimally Invasive Direct Anterior Hip Replacement technique, which offers patients a smaller incision, quicker recovery time, and a faster return to daily activities.
Dr. Ghobrial is committed to working collaboratively with each patient to diagnose their condition and offer multiple treatment options, both surgical and non-operative, such as therapy, injections, and medications.
