"We brought my mother-in-law to Dr. Sodha over a year ago because her fingers on her right hand started to curl up into a ball. It got SO bad that her nails were digging into her palm causing an infection. Prior to seeing him, I brought her to a similar dr that didn't want to touch her because of her "long history of RA and age." She was 82 not 102! Thank god Dr. Sodha was able to open her hand, apply a splint, and gave her antibiotics!! He fully explained (and showed us) why her hand curled up because of a STROKE!! Which was not picked up on any of her (several) ER visits to Valley hospital! A few months later a second stroke took her life. Guess what happened? Her left hand curled up! We are forever grateful for Dr. Sodha's time, patience, and willingness to take care of her! He was extremely professional & compassionate to our mother during a challenging time in her life!
