Dr. Abdelshahed, a native of Union, NJ, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his practice. He graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University and earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree from Rutgers University – New Jersey Medical School, where he was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Society. His extensive training includes an internship and residency in Orthopaedic Surgery, where he served as an Administrative Chief Resident and was honored with the Orthopaedic Resident Teaching Award.

With a specialized fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery from the renowned New York University Hospital of Joint Diseases, Dr. Abdelshahed is well-equipped to treat a wide range of conditions affecting the shoulder, elbow, and upper extremity. His practice offers a variety of interventions, including both surgical and non-surgical options, tailored to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Dr. Abdelshahed is passionate about giving back to the community and is committed to helping patients recover from orthopedic injuries and ailments, including trauma, fractures, and sports-related injuries.
