"I walked 20 minutes to The Market. Great setup. I wanted an egg sandwich for breakfast. My coffee there was great, my breakfast not great. How difficult is is to make an egg sandwich? I asked for cheddar cheese and got American cheese. I wanted salt and pepper and got just pepper, asked for two eggs over medium and got a solid mass. Roll was soft and too white. Wish it worked out but unfortunately won't be returning unless desperate."

"Well... The ice cream was tasty, there were plenty of napkins for messy faces, and the kids had a place to sit and eat, but that's where the positives leave off. The kiosk was frustrating at best and took much longer than if a human being, of which there were four teenagers behind the counter, actually took our order. Once our order of six ice creams was finally (minutes of button taping later as a line grew behind us) placed, I was called to the window only to be told one of the flavors was out of stock. When I asked the young man what my other options were, he looked at me and said, "I don't know... strawberry?" The original order was for cotton candy. I asked him to please give me some options for my nine year old. His annoyed response was to tell me he didn't know any and couldn't I just choose one? This was my first time visiting, and there's no list other than on the kiosk, which was facing annoyed looking adults. A printed or posted list would have been helpful for everyone, including the frustrated young people working. Perhaps I'm spoiled by Upstate human customer service, but I would not recommend this stand unless you have substantial time to stare at a screen and a deep compassion for grumpy teenagers. The five kids in our party enjoyed their cones and the view of the water. We enjoyed watching them eat, laugh, and make a mess of themselves in only the way those under ten can go. Maybe next year, the teens can take the orders, enjoy the human contact, and then the treats will taste even sweeter."

"The workers are nice, but there’s not a lot there. Previous owner had much better stock, shelves were always filled - the shelves are half empty now. The egg sandwiches are just not as good as they used to be either. The touch screen outside is not helpful by any means, a lot of us would rather not go than have to use those screens."

"The TOUCH SCREEN KIOSKS HAVE TO GO!! It’s absolutely absurd to have this here, major loss to business - people are intimidated, it makes the process completely unpleasant and MUCH LONGER - and many just walk away instead over frustration, not to mention it’s just not the small town, warm vibe that people love Kismet for. You can hardly even see the screens in the sun. Owner needs to listen to feedback about these. Staff are just standing there waiting while people who are trying to figure out how to enter their orders, feel badly for them also as being the messenger about frustration from customers. I will say that they are friendly, and it’s nice to see some different types of items."
