"If you want spoiled food, you’ve come to the right place. The only thing that has changed in the ten years I’ve been in the community is the name. The customer service is great, I can say that — all familiar faces. But the meat, the cheese, the milk, the bread — every time I go into the store, I have to take something back, even as small as molded peppers! Meat spoiled with flies behind the glass, expired cheese — you can tell nobody really cares about our community, because this would have been rectified by now."
"The store offers a variety of fresh produce out /in the store. If you're NOT Hispanic some people can be rude. Their meat is always fresh. They offer a reasonable meat plans. Ask about it at the butcher counter. I almost forgotten that I was in The Bronx.But they're surprised by an African American speaking Spanish. The things a woman has to do get better customer service are amazing."
"this store is price gouging. they are selling walmart brand (great value) disinfectant wipes for $14.99 and they are listed at walmart for $3.12. this is unfair to the consumer especially in this pandemic and in low income neighborhoods."
