As a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at the University at Buffalo, Dr. Rauh combines academic expertise with compassionate patient care to address a wide range of orthopaedic conditions.

Dr. Rauh specializes in maximizing nonsurgical treatment options for his patients. However, when surgery is necessary to restore full function, he expertly performs outpatient arthroscopic procedures on the shoulder and knee. His surgical repertoire includes arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs, labral reconstructions following shoulder dislocations, ACL reconstructions, and meniscus procedures.

With hospital privileges at Erie County Medical Center, Kaleida Health, and Southtowns Surgery Center, Dr. Rauh ensures comprehensive care and seamless patient experiences. He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds a Certificate in Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.

Dr. Rauh's extensive training includes an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the University at Buffalo, a Sports Medicine Fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic, and an EFOST European Traveling Fellowship. His commitment to advancing orthopaedic care is evident through his involvement with various professional organizations, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Arthroscopy Association of North America.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Rauh serves as an Assistant Team Physician for the University at Buffalo Bulls and Erie Community College Kats, and as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon for both Athleticare Sports Outreach and Great Lakes Sports Outreach. He is also the Head Team Physician for Orchard Park High School and the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League.
