"A music store for musicians. The largest selection of used instruments around. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Rick did a great job of setting up my vintage Les Paul."

"Music Emporium is my favorite local music store and the owner/luthier Rick is a very friendly and knowledgeable guy. This is where I go to get my guitars set up and where I go for almost any kind of repair/maintenance/upgrades on my gear. I send my guitar students here any time they need guitar set ups and for any kind of repairs. The prices Rick charges are fair, and he is always happy to answer any questions I may have. The turnaround time is always quick. This place has a cool vibe, from the framed picture of Little Walter playing a gig in Cleveland, to the new and vintage gear sprawling across the sales floor. There's always some cool music playing in the background. This is where I tried out my first Gretsch guitar, where I played a Hammond Organ through a Leslie Speaker, and I've seen vintage stuff here that I've never seen anywhere else. Having your guitar or bass set up correctly will help you get the best playability and sound out of your instrument, and Rick is the guy you should take it to. I can't recommend this placed highly enough."

"Great place for guitar repair! My student took her 1/4 size classical guitar here because the bridge popped off. They were able to glue it back on even though they don't commonly work on such small guitars. The repair was good quality and the price was great as well. Will send students here in the future for repairs."

"This place is a trove of various treasures and artifacts. I have found some true gems here, but as with any second-hand store, you have to check back often. These guys are great with repair work too. Highly recommended. Support your local music shop!"
