"USED CAR DEALERS HAVE A BAD REPUTATION. MVP PROVES WHY. I took my granddaughter to MVP auto to buy a used car. Seth was a wonderful salesperson, helpful and sincere. That is, until he wasn’t. About 1 1/2 weeks after she got back to NJ with it the car wouldn’t start. We had it towed to a Ford dealer who diagnosed the problem and replaced the parts needed for the Escape to start. I took the bill to MVP as we were given a 3 month warranty when we purchased the car. Seth hemmed and hawed over it, contradicted himself numerous times, told me the part didn’t have to be changed out. When I pointed out that the diagnostic readout clearly stated it did, he said that it wasn’t covered under the warranty because it was a safety feature, not needed for the car to run. This,despite knowing the car wouldn’t start without it being replaced! I was given a check for an amount well less than I was happy with. His words at that? “ Well, if you aren’t going to be happy why would I give you anything? “"
