"Like most people I dread getting my state inspection, all the places I've gone to will tell you you need something replaced after the inspection be it brakes, tires, tie rods, etc. to pass inspection. I understand it's a business and people have to make a living, but I know my car and I keep it up to date mechanically, so i decided to go here because I pass it every day and why not. While I was waiting there I saw customers interact with the staff like they were family and the way the staff interacted with each other just professionally. Before I knew it my car was ready, nobody tried to sell me anything. I told the woman at the front desk that I would be taking my other card here for service in the future. I just wished I got her name. Thank you"

"Horrible experience, vehicle inspection was plug in only, never checked anything as I was standing there. Next day I lost the brakes. Took it in and 3 days later the brake line was fixed. Drove it home smelling like gas, thought it was burning off brake fluid. Next day check engine light is on. Took it to auto parts store and was told it’s an evap leak (gas). I didn’t want my car laid up for another three days so I took it somewhere else to be repaired. I got a call from the Other repair shop and was questioned if any work was done underneath the car recently. I said yes two days ago I had the brake line repaired. He then said well that makes sense now because they drilled a hole in your gas tank they must have slipped while working on it. The hole was at the top of the tank not the bottom so no one was trying to steal gas. I called Baldwin up and was given an oh well pretty much. They did not want to fix it for me nor would they return my money after they destroyed my gas tank while fixing the brake line. Never go here because they don’t stand behind their work! I complained to the New York State department of motor vehicles, and they checked out my car by putting it on a lift and determined that Baldwin’s was definitely at fault they fined them and made them give me all of my money back."

"Haven't been to this business location in years. The facility is very clean, and the staff were super friendly. They do inspections and all types of repairs & diagnostic work. They have a lot of garage bays so they able to help you quickly."

"Be careful with this place. very dishonest, and will charge you 8 times the price on a part and not even fix the issue. 2016 Altima vvt solenoid got charged 215.00 for the part alone! the dealer price is 96.60. Any auto store has them for around 40 dollars. when questioned they hung up on me. On further inspection of the work performed they changed the wrong solenoid cut a support mount to gain access to a bolt and had my ac line up against the motor mount which is now damaged i will include photos. Once again if you value your vehicle STAY AWAY!"
