"Perhaps one of the nicest and most accessible spots in the Mastic/Shirley area to get close to nature. Cormorants, osprey, the occasional bald eagle, geese, ducks, and swans, all alongside a plethora of diverse swamp/forest birds, this spot is a treasure. Bring bug spray though!!!"
