"Tried to get a Brookhaven parking pass, as I have the last several years. I signed up on the website and everything went through. A few days later, I got an email back claiming that I do not live in Brookhaven, and that I will not be given a refund as I entered false information. I did not. I went to this office and asked about a refund and I was met immediately with an attitude, when I was being friendly and nice the whole time. I was told Megan would call me back. I left and a short while later, Megan called me back, and immediately had an attitude from the start. They did not want anything to do with me, I could tell that the women working here seemed to hate that I had the audacity to come into their place of work. Megan was rude and inconsiderate. I don't even understand what went wrong and got literally no answers as to why I was denied a parking pass or a refund. They straight up stole from me and were rude because I questioned it. Honestly, it's really sad that these people working here have this demeanor."
"Drove a half hour because of the Centereach Pool listing and website claiming to be open (except Wednesdays) and we are now we’ll into a hot June. Now I have an upset child and more of an empty gas tank Because you can’t even get somebody on the phone on the number listed to get a straight answer as to why their website doesn’t list when the season starts and ends. For the taxes we pay, there is no excuse why they can’t list this very basic information on the website or in the very least put a sign up on the gate there to let taxpayers know what’s going on."
"So excited for the Summer Fun program for my son.. Signing up was easy. Easy access online. Lots of fun stuff incorporated to keep the kids busy and happy.. So affordable I spoke with Program Director Maryellen Olsen of Town of Brookhaven Recreation and she was very patient & friendly.. Even after I erased my confirmation email with set dates the office within was patient in guiding and providing a new email confirmation as well as a returned phone call with dates set. The Town of Brookhaven really works in great dignity & high pride...They really value community members and they work really hard at coordinating fun programs & events within our township.. We absolutely love being members of the community and look forward to the SUMMER FUN PROGRAM & lots of other incorporated activities throughout our community"
