"The front desk is horrible. I've been calling all last week to try and get my wife an appointment here for a root canal, she was referred by another doctor to come here. They're stating my insurance says that it doesn't have root canals included and they need to send for pre approval. I decided to call in today and the front desk lady which was different than who I spoke to before said pre-approval can take 2 weeks so I decided let me make an appointment. I gave her my card that they charged $50 and then she tells me that she sees 2 denials due to no phone number when I have given the original front desk my phone number, email, name, DOB. All the information needed so I decided you know what, they don't take this seriously and it's already a bad impression on the whole office I said to refund me my money and I will find another doctor. I personally don't recommend this office."

I had a very difficult root canal on a molar tooth that I had been dreading for months but I had two different dentists refer me to Dr. Portugeys because he is the only one who does that kind of root canal in Brooklyn. So all the praise was well deserved because Dr. Portugeys made the entire frightening procedure super painless. He explained how novocaine worked and where the needles will go and how long it will take and i didn’t even feel his touch! Just amazing! 10 stars!"
