Welcome to Chef's Express: A Bakery with a Mission
Located at 241 Genesee Street in the heart of downtown Utica, New York, Chef's Express is more than just a bakery—it's a social enterprise dedicated to making a difference one bite at a time. We proudly open our doors to everyone, inviting you to indulge in our array of freshly baked goods, savory delights, heartwarming soups, and aromatic coffees. Whether you're dining in our eclectic space or grabbing a treat to go, our fast and friendly service will leave you coming back for more.
At Chef's Express, every flavor tells a story, and every bite makes a difference. Start your day with our classic morning fare, featuring made-to-order breakfast sandwiches paired with a perfectly brewed cup of coffee. For lunch, enjoy comforting selections like creamy mac & cheese, classic grilled cheese, BLTs, PB&Js, and our savory tomato pie.
Satisfy your sweet tooth with our delightful cookies, brownies, biscotti, and Utica classics like Halfmoon cookies and made-to-order cannoli. Our seasonal mini bread and cupcakes, available in flavors like vanilla, chocolate, and rotating seasonal selections, are perfect for any occasion.
Chef's Express began in 2008 as a program at The Arc, Oneida-Lewis, helping individuals develop their baking skills. The success of these delicious creations led to the opening of our bakeshop, supported by community fundraising.
Whether you're celebrating a birthday, hosting a corporate event, or simply treating yourself, Chef's Express has you covered with a delectable spread of baked goods. To place an order, call us at (315) 927-0082 or email orders@chefsexpressutica.com. Please provide at least 48 hours' notice for all preorder cakes, cupcakes, and larger orders. Special pickups can be arranged after 2 pm or on weekends for special occasions.
