At Brooklyn Kolache, we take pride in our dough, made with King Arthur flour, local cage-free eggs, and fresh Battenkill Valley milk. Beyond our signature kolaches, we offer a tempting selection of cinnamon rolls, orange rolls, and vegan/gluten-free energy cookies. Pair your treat with our full espresso and coffee menu featuring locally roasted Kitten Coffee, or choose from our wide selection of Harney & Sons teas. Enhance your beverage with our house-made syrups, including flavors like ube, chai, salted caramel, and ganache.

Our dedication to responsible sourcing supports suppliers and vendors who share our values, ensuring the highest quality ingredients. We prioritize sustainability by using post-consumer recycled, compostable paper goods, biodegradable straws, and energy-efficient equipment. We also practice water-saving measures and use earth-friendly dish soap and cleaning products.

Our pastries are bigger and more opulent, offering a satisfying balance of slightly sweet dough with both sweet and savory fillings. Everything is made from scratch, using locally sourced ingredients from New York and Vermont, with select sausages from Texas to honor the kolache's roots.

"One of the most authentic German kolaches I’ve had! The dough is perfectly spongy, moist and rich but not too much so. I am from a small German town in Texas, so I was surprised to find this place…and even more surprised at how good their kolaches are! 10/10 recommend!"

"i adored the brand graphics from its wall papers, tote bags to packaging papers. the coffee selection seems quite nice too; will want to try if in the area. but the kolache was actually a bit disappointing to what i had in mind. the poppyseed kolache was more like a bread with a sweet filling than a sweet pastry. the poppyseed filling takes up a small portion than the ones i had in Czech and the outer dough was quite dry."

"This is a nice little place. The food is very tasty. The savoury as well as the sweet pastries are delicious. The feta one was slightly dry though but apart from this, it's totally worth going if you are in the area. The drinks were slightly underwhelming. But I didn't try the signatures. They have lavender drinks everyone seems to get."
