"Love this place, I come here often. Right now the food is a 2 because over the last month practically all their pastries are burnt or nearly burnt. The palmiers are always charred, and now their croissants are too. Not sure if they changed their baker or are not paying attention to bake times. I hope they go back to their usual good quality of golden and fluffy pasty. Nearly $4 for a burnt croissant is too much"

"I have never seen a canele like this, and the passion guava pastry isn’t even fully cooked. This is such a disappointing experience."

"One of the best pan bagnat (tuna sandwich) I’ve had in a while, the bread was so soft and delicious. Love good quality bread ! I also took a hot latte and it was perfect. This is one of my favorite French bakeries in the city — they have 2 locations and both offer top quality pastries."

"By the busyness of the place, it is obviously a local favorite. The small seating area was congested and a bit more intimate than I liked. I did not eat-in. The service was dry- not friendly, but they worked efficiently. I came in to try they opulent chocolate croissant. The pastry looked amazing with its puffy and glossy crust with chocolate that had slightly oozing and dried on the borders of the croissant. Everything about this croissant fell short of my expectations!! It was stale- hard and dry! The chocolate peek-a-booed in the corners only and was nonexistent inside the croissant! Super deceiving at $ 3.75 a piece. All three were the same! I'll drive pass this bakery, next time."

"*Espresso 31 Decorated with silky espresso ganache, this cute little dome consisted of layers of sponge cake and milk chocolate mousse. When you cut the cake, some chocolate balls will ooze out of the center, giving it a crunchy texture. I bought a 4’ whole espresso cake ($24 only wow!) from them last time, and I could easily finish two slices in one sitting. Strongly recommend buying birthday cakes from them, it will certainly impress your guests. *Fraisier A classic French cake combining buttery sponge layers and butter cream. It was loaded with a hearty amount of fresh strawberries. Utterly decadent with its light and fluffy sponge cakes. *Brownie Not a fan of brownie, but it was quite fudge and infused with the richness of chocolate flavors."
