"How odd, I was looking over the reviews of Variety Bakery and was taken abit back. There were a bunch of bad reviews.I do not think that they deserve the bad reviews that I read. I've been shopping at this bakery probably for 20 years. While some of their products are not award winning, Most are fantastic. their fresh baked breads are great, and their cannoli are some of the best in queens. As far as price goes, this bakery has great prices. Service on a good day is good, not great. On a bad day a bit on the slow side. Hey I don't care how the service is, as long as the baked goods are good! BTW their Horseshoe semolina is delicious and worth the trip."
"I got a 3 Leche strawberry cake for my Mom's 100th Bday and it was an absolute hit. Even people who don't like having cake because they watch their sugar were really enjoying it and commenting on how good it was and that it was not as sweet as other cakes they had. My Mother and her friends truly enjoyed it. I highly recommend this Variety Bakery for your party pastries needs. Also tried their Napoleon and Eclairs and they were delicious too. Try them out, you won't regret it."
"The customer service is top notch, you don't feel rushed, the place is always super clean. The earlier you come the better the bread tastes. They serve quality bread at honestly a great price. I recommend they're ham or turkey sandwich in the morning"
"NEVER GO TO THID BAKERY NAPOLEON SLICE WAS MOLDY AND STALE!! My husband and I went to this bakery and bought a few different things. Butter cookies, coconut macaroons, cannolis and some Napoleon slices. My husband was very excited about the Napoleons. The women at the counter were not helpful and very rude. They seemed frustrated to answer any question. We took the desserts home because the lady failed to give any forks or spoons or napkins in the bag. The cannolis were soggy and the Napoleon slices WERE MOLDED. I have provided a photo."
