"I am one of the costumers who come often to the bakery. I wanted to share that sometimes I experience negative service, and it makes me feel quite upset. Coming from Greece, where hospitality and welcoming vibes are a fundamental part of our culture, it's something I grew up with and deeply value. I believe that if you could try to understand me as a customer and a person, and treat me slightly better, it would make a significant difference. Thank you for your understanding."

"Not a fan at all., bread was gooey and bland, the meat bread had no flavor. The sfogliatella nothing to brag about also raw and blahhh sorry folks. Looks are deceiving as well as presentation."

"$6/ ricotta-filled sfogliatella The ricotta-filled sfogliatella was disappointing. I was expecting it to be better. I was much more agreeably surprised by the prosciutto bread roll. That was superb. Quite rare in the US that the bread surpasses the pastries, ‘bakery’ is practically synonymous with cake shop here. The prosciutto bread was outstanding, I would go back for it. The sfogliatella to me wasn’t flaky enough :/ and the ricotta filling was the most disappointing part. It was too custardy and not ricotta-y enough basically and it had that Lemony aftertaste that Italian traditional baking has (not something we have in French baking). *oh also I was unable to find the exact date of establishment of the business anywhere. Appears to be ca. 1970 but unclear."

"A classic bakery with their delicious assortment of cookies, cannoli, and other baked goods. They offer a special of a small coffee and a buttered roll for $2. It's a go to coffee stop when in Astoria. Conveniently located below the Subway platform on 31st."

"Rose & Joe's is Astoria's hidden gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Their garlic knots are garlicky perfection, the linzer tart's jam was bursting with flavor, and the chocolate croissant was flaky and decadent. But the real hero? The choclatey, melt-in-your-mouth brownie (not pictured — all gone! ) with nuts. It's a must-try! Arincinis on deck!"
