"Their round raisin bread is the best thing you ever ate. Used to stop in around 2 in the morning and pick up a few loaves to take back to Orange county. Some of them never made it that far."
"Been coming here my entire life, my parents started coming mid 80's. Love love the cheese cake!!!! The bread is so fresh. The aroma when you walk through the doors, or even walking up to the entrance is amazing. I end up buying more than intended but always worth every penny."
"This place is normally 6 stars worthy, but something has changed in the last few months. Don’t know if there is a new baker, or ingredient change due to shortages, but whatever it is I hope they can go back. Last three visits the bread has lost its shine, crackle and chewyness. Now its dry, crumbly and generic. (See photo for comparison) Please guys, get back to the old version we all love so much. 9/19/20 Update: Gave it another go today and it’s back to normal again. Star rating upped- if it sticks for two more visits I’ll add another. Fingers crossed."
