"(Old review @ 5 stars) Very knowledgeable and honest. High prices, but you get what you pay for. (New review) turns out that they've been charging very high prices but literally not doing the work. Example; I'd been taking my box truck to him for a couple years with a weird problem with acceleration. He said "it's just the overdrive kicking in". In an emergency I took it to a different mechanic. The other mechanic pointed out that the fuel filter was never changed and was so rusted that water was getting in the fuel. Meanwhile I had had my truck pass inspection twice at Diamond Auto. On top of that, the fuel filter is visible from outside the vehicle. The other mechanic pointed directly at it the minute I drove up. I guess they just slapped a sticker on it and took hundreds of $$$. If YOU PERSONALLY don't know how to work on cars then this isn't the mechanic shop for you, because you'll have to ensure they actually did something to your vehicle."
