"Tasty pasta fagioli dishes with garlic bread and fresh-tasting side salads really hit the spot on our road trip. Convenient location off the highway. (Water to drink.) Total for two people: $22."

"We ordered from North End for the 1st time recently. Not sure why we never did before, since they're close. I got a rb sub that was great - fresh bread, paid attention to my order notes & quality meat. He got a meatball sub, rave reviews. We also got truffle fries - which were awesome! I would love to know what's in upstate sauce, I couldn't pinpoint the taste - but it went so well with the fries! We'll definitely be ordering again. We ordered takeout thru Grubhub (order arrived timely) so I couldn't rate atmosphere since I wasn't there."

"My wife and I were traveling east on the NY State Thruway on our way home from a family visit in the Finger Lakes region. Got off Exit 31 and found this gem right off the exit. With out any doubt at all the BEST eggplant parm sub we have ever had...............and we have had MANY all across the northeast. Friendly waitress informed us they are served on homemade bread which just added to the flavor. Nice side salad and a tasty pasta fagioli. Would certainly return if we find our way to Utica again."

"Came into Utica for the 1st time & was pleasantly surprised by this spot. It was nicely decorated with lots of adult beverage choices. Food was very good, cheese slice was light & good tasting all the way down to the crust, garlic knots were cooked very well not overly sized & doughy & then there was the truffle fries nice bits of beef well done with delicious sauce on the side. Shannon was super nice behind the bar & kept checking on everyone and kept it moving, food came in a fair amount of time & was good. If you're in the North end of Utica which there are lots of hotels in the area stop by, my experience was over lunch & it seemed to be a fair amount of locals at that time."
