"Limo cancelled on the morning of prom. Last year I attempted to use Uptown for transportation for 7 of my friends and I to prom. I called 2-3 months in advance to acquire an estimate. After being told it would be upwards of $300 because the owner has children of his own and understood the importance of prom my friends and I decided to use their services. I called again and was told the cost would be upwards of $400 and the owner did not recall ever telling me he would give me a discount. I verified the information with my friends again who said they would be willing to pay the extra 100 and split the cost between all of us. I placed a down payment for $100 several weeks before the prom. When I woke up the morning of prom I received a call from the owner cancelling my limo because of an outdated inspection. I demanded my money back and was able to call another limo company and receive a MUCH better price on a party bus for my friends and I 5 HOURS before prom. Needless to say I will never use their services. Use this company at your own risk. You or your child could have a precious moment (like prom) ruined."
