Lake View Grill

"We stayed to eat dinner after finishing at the Aquapark. Seating available out on the patio as well as indoors. Wait staff was attentive and friendly, food came out fast (though restaurant was pretty empty), and there are plenty of TVs inside if you want to watch the game. Food options are typical American bar food - not much in the way of vegan/vegetarian, but plenty of apps and then tacos, burgers, sandwiches, and the usual mix of steak / chicken / fish entrees. The food was ... meh. Candied bacon was just 5 strips of bacon with a hint of sweet/smoky flavoring. Ribs were overcooked (not fall off the bone overcooked, tough and crispy overcooked). I wasn't expecting fine dining at a waterpark, but the prices were also way more than the quality justified. Could have eaten better (and certainly cheaper) at TGIFriday's."

"Convenient location if you're visiting Calverton Cemetery. It's located inside an indoor activity center (indoor surfing, rock climbing, etc. ) The food runs the gambit from pub grub finger foods like fried pickles to more substantial meals like salmon and steak, with some artisan style foods sprinkled in for good measure. We waited a bit at the hostess post to be seated only to walk inside and be told sit anywhere. The servers were not very quick to take orders despite being relatively empty. As a relatively new establishment, I think it has some bugs to work out but overall has potential to really be something great once they get their bearings."

"From the reservation, the food, the service and atmosphere, everything was five stars. They were able to host our party of 27 people on short notice. The entire staff was friendly and service was amazing. Every dish we ordered was delicious, drinks were perfect and prices were better than expected. Decor was modern, sheik and the restaurant was impeccably clean. Highly recommend it and we will be returning!!"

"Went to lunch with a friend, we sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly. I have celiac’s disease, and the chef personally came out to talk to me. Many gluten-free options, they use a separate fryer. I ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and he offered to fry it Gluten free! Overall, great experience. Great atmosphere Can’t wait to go back."

"Had an excellent experience at Lake View Grill. It was our first time here and the food was great. The picture is of the Mac and cheese wedges and our entrees were delicious. Our service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Even the music playlist was good. Will definitely be coming back!"
