"Not sure where the 4+ stars came from, one of the worst places I’ve tried recently. Lamb over rice was terrible, the sauce is sweet, the rice wasn’t cooked and the meat tasted like nothing. The Philly cheesesteak was hands down the worst from any surrounding restaurants. We ordered two and threw away almost both sandwiches. The bread was soft and soggy, it was bad all around. Go some place else."
"THE BEST hummus I've ever had. Great pita sandwich, softest pita bread and delicious grilled chicken. Everything on the menu is good, and they give very big portions. My sister who moved to Boston still craves this specific spot. I highly recommend."
"We used Halal Hut to cater a retirement party. We were so pleased with not only the delicious food but the service was wonderful. They arrived on time and the food was hot and ready to eat. We had 65 people and received more than enough food to feed everyone (and then some). We couldn't have been happier with our choice. I would highly recommend them not only for a catered event but for their take out. Their food is flavorful and delicious."
"We enjoy Halal, so we decided to try this place tonight. Walked in to a clean, small store front with a handful of tables to stay and eat. The drink refrigerator in the corner provides limited choices of soda, diet, and water, and I believe iced tea. They also have fruit punch and lemonade on tap. We were quickly greeted and served by a very friendly and helpful employee at the counter. My husband ordered a 5 piece chicken with fries. Chicken pieces were small, but he said one of the best Halal fried chicken he has had. I ordered the protein over rice. I was looking forward to trying the cod and was advised they no longer serve that. Disappointed, I settled for the gyro (lamb) meat. I'm very basic, so I only topped it with peppers, onions, and hummus, no sauce. While very flavorful, it was warm to cold. The rice was also very flavorful. The hummus was creamy and fresh and had a kick of pepper to it. Next time, I'd like to try the chicken as well as the shrimp. We will absolutely return."
"The fried chicken and white sauce were outstanding but the blondie tasted as if it had been dug up from the bottom of the freezer after many years, awful! My loaded fries were just ok. It would have been better if they’d used white meat. Overall I was pleased with the food and would buy from here again."
