"I usually ONLY order fried chicken or soup from Jamaican restaurants because…you can’t really mess those up! I visited today for soup-they don’t sell soup. I ended up getting a mini jerk chicken and a cheese patty. I NEVER buy patty from Jamaican restaurants because they are usually horrible! I ONLY purchased it here because I saw a review saying it’s the best patty they’ve had-lol. I thought that statement was ridiculous! Lol. HOWEVER, the patty is SOO good!! I think they got the recipe from Juicy Beef (lol…it’s just that good!) I ate the patty while on the highway and I literally pulled over to eat the food after tasting a piece of the jerk chicken! The jerk was the real deal and NOT oven baked! Seasoned to the bone! The rice was cooked well- it wasn’t hard(like the parboiled rice) or soft…veggies-seasoned! The lady who served me was patient and did not have an attitude or disdain look, even through my indecisiveness of what to get. I just might pay the toll again from NY for some of that food!!"

"This hidden gem restaurant offers a great selection of Jamaican cuisine. The prices are reasonable considering the large portion sizes of fresh and flavorful food received. The dining area is clean and offers several tables spaced out for dining in. There is a beverage case with lots of Caribbean and American choices, a hot case on the counter showcasing assorted patties and a few desserts are offered as well. Counter service for take-out is polite and efficient and your order is repeated back to you before being prepared and cash, debit and credit cards are accepted for payment. The entrance may be a challenge for those with mobility issues, due to a step-up to enter and there is limited on the street parking because they are in a mainly residential area. The restaurant is conveniently located close to the GSP southbound."
