"All of Piermont has been anxiously awaiting the new Cafe Diem! We needed a great breakfast place! The original site is in Pearl River! The menu is mostly homemade pastries, breakfast and lunch items ( the smashburger and sandwiches are outstanding). Right now the hours are limited but dinner service is coming! Be sure to sample the homemade cinnamon rolls … my Irish mom’s recipe !"
"Don’t let the boomers fool you, before I even got the main course, I knew everything would be phenomenal. The back seating is about as peaceful as I’ve found around Piermont/Orangeburg etc (Spoiler alert it was! Corned Beef Reuben my friend claimed he’d come up to NY once a week for. Everything else? To die for. Try the cinnamon bun)"
"Highly recommend! Had the French toast which was amazing! We had our food to go , but were able to sit in the beautiful outside area ( in the back of the restaurant)"
"This was my 3rd visit today and I must say I was disappointed, the greek salad was not as tasty as in the past and the grilled chicken was pretty bland. My latte was good and my friends soup was delicious. It was a long wait for just salads and soups. This will not deter me from going back as it was very good previously."
"If you’re a local, you know this place never fails for a quick coffee & pastry or an excellent & complete breakfast. They cut no corners here; everything & anything you order is going to be a win. If you happen to be passing through, definitely stop here for a quality meal, friendly service, and a comfy seat. P.S. their cinnamon roll is insane."
