"I used to shop all the time at GameStop, I never understood the hate as much as it got. I went today, bought a silly little thing to find out all my points for my power rewards are gone because the card expired LOL. They added “ did you wanna renew” no screw that, I’m never gonna shop here anymore ever. Because they are never going to learn to not do things that are customer friendly"

"PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THIS STORE TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE - It is unbelievable that this employee called Justin is still working at this particular store even after numerous complaints by many customers of him being rude and lack customer service skills especially to people of color. I will even go further to say that this guy is racist he clearly does not like anyone who is non white and you can judge by the way he interacts with white customers and others including me when I go to there. I went there about 3 weeks ago to buy a controller for my daughter's PlayStation 4 game and I mistakenly picked up a controller for a Xbox. I immediately went back to the store to exchange it and on getting there I was not able to find the receipt. This guy Justin was so rude nasty and sarcastic to me he refused to exchange the controller for me without the receipt saying it is company policy. He acknowledged that he recognize me and that I just bought the controller about an hour before after we went back and forth he agreed to look up the receipt in the system and when I gave him the box containing the controller he noticed that my daughter removed the tape a small tape on top of the box and because of this he refused to take back or exchange the controller for me again he said it is company policy. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he told me sarcastically that his supervisor is on vacation for 3 weeks. I was so upset that I just don't want to go back into that store again I will never recommend anyone to go into that store as long as this guy still work there. I have no need for that controller I just dumped it in my garage please do not visit this store take your business elsewhere. If I could give this store 0 star I would. Attached below is a picture of the controller he refused to exchange or take back. As you can see there is absolutely nothing wrong with the box"

"Ordered a refurbished ps5 online through the store, it came horribly scratched up, when I went to try to exchange it I asked the guy justin multiple times if this one was the disk edition, he opened the box looked through it quick and told me yes every time. Get home see there’s no stand for the thing in the box, have to go back to get a stand. When I go to put it in the box I realize he either lied or is incredibly incompetent because he gave me the cheaper digital edition in exchange. I went back again and was almost given the same one I was shipped originally back, since this time the employee didn’t even open the box to check if it was the right edition or if it had everything until I asked, and was told I didn’t need the receipt. when we saw there was a Spider-Man bundle available we asked a friend to swap it because that’s what we wanted originally, and we were sick. Justin denied the return (which was within the 14 day policy given) because he was asked why the refund was missing $40 in taxes then when we called customer service we were accused of lying and stealing and a block was put on our GS account. When we called to get clarity we were told that GS doesn’t accept any returns over $300 even though we were given 14 days at time of purchase. We were also told that we could sell the pa5 to GameStop instead for 200 when we bought it from them for over double that a week ago. Last time I use this store or GameStop at all"

"They shipped me a PS5 missing a part and then they shipped me a scratched up PS5. When I tried to return it they did not refund me the tax. When I asked Justin about the missing tax not included in the refund, instead of saying that’s the store policy, he got frustrated and told me he is not going to refund the PS5 anymore and I have to call customer service. He wrote on comment on my account to not allow me to refund it and that I was abusing my refund ability. So when I called customer service they saw the note and said they can’t refund it because of Justin’s note on my account. Horrible experience and have wasted many hours driving back and forth dealing with this store’s incompetence and terrible customer service."
