"The restaurant was full so I understand not being checked on as routinely, however my water was left empty a good majority of the dinner so I feel the hostess could have helped the wait staff when all the tables were full. I was also disappointed that when we originally sat down, we were not told that one of the dishes was out of stock, and that was the dish I had chosen. None of this detracted from the great food or ambiance of the restaurant. It was a good experience and I would return."
"It was my first time at Rex’s which is surprising because it’s been in my backyard for so long. I was beyond impressed! The bread is delicious, the starter salad was tasty, and I ordered the cavatelli, which I will be dreaming about. Staff were so very friendly and the place is super clean. It’s great to see a small business thriving. I highly recommend!"
"New to the area. Heard lots of good things. Went in with my wife and was not disappointed. Excellent. We’re from the downstate area so we know good food. My wife had the shrimp scampi. I had the best French onion soup I’ve ever had along with the best breakfast burger I’ve ever had. Everything was absolutely delicious. Really good Bloody Mary too! Definitely on the pricey side, but then again quality is never cheap. We’re definitely coming back. Very pleased."
