"Don't walk, RUN to Sit Means Sit if your dog (or you!) needs training. I rescued an adult dog during COVID who was the last at the shelter and no one would foster because he was "scary" and "aggressive." He was reactive on the leash and I was scared if he ever got to another dog. And I had never had a dog so no clue where to start. Fast forward to meeting Tom - who taught us how to handle him, how to be confident and give him confidence and direction. When I say this dog is the most loving and docile dog now, it is an understatement. He was just scared and confused and needed guidance. He now can be off leash with other dogs and we've adopted a second rescue that he is so patient with. Our second dog, is more of a handful than our first. So back to SMS we went and they have worked wonders on helping us understand how best to meet her needs and how to handle different situations. Both dogs and us are always a work in progress, but life would be wildly different and mostly unmanageable with our two fur-babies if it wasn't for Tom, Meg and the SMS team! They truly care about their clients and their dogs. Highly highly recommend and will be back if my husband ever lets me adopt another dog :)"

"Highly recommend Sit Means Sit for behavior modification for reactive dogs. My 4 yr old terrier mix was becoming increasingly reactive to other dogs and to people. Tom has helped turn that around. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient and effectively communicates what is expected and needed to get the job done. The individualized attention is well worth the cost of the program.
