Allegheny County Emergency Services (ACES) is dedicated to supporting the residents and first responders of Allegheny County. Our mission encompasses a comprehensive approach to managing both man-made and natural emergencies, as well as acts of terrorism. We are committed to the principles of prevention, preparation, protection, response, and recovery to ensure the safety and well-being of our community.

Our services extend throughout Allegheny County and the surrounding region, working in close collaboration with Emergency Medical Service (EMS) agencies, fire departments, and police departments. These entities are always prepared to assist you before, during, and after an emergency.

The Emergency Management Division of ACES focuses on meticulous planning to prepare for potential emergencies. During times of crisis, we provide essential support for response and recovery efforts, aiming to prevent or mitigate the impact of disasters.
