They welcomed me like a family member and helped change my life. from the detox, with the amazing BHT's, case workers and James (my fav) to the PHP and half way, with Taylor and Ms. Annette. nothing but love for this place. AND GUS! he's a B.A.D man!!!"

He found out what happened and just went over and above making me feel valued. I truly think anyone would be in good hands at this establishment. "This place has its ups and downs. It’s not horrible but there’s some things that could use improvement. Loved my therapist she was kind, compassionate and opened my eyes to a lot. The staff are super accommodating and friendly for the most part except for a couple who had a holier than thou attitude and made accusations that weren’t accurate at all. The groups were ok too. The nurses were great for the most part kinda understaffed and it was chaotic getting meds. Maybe think about a better system. Overall not a horrible experience, made some lifelong friends. I would recommend this place to people seeking help for mental and addiction."

"I just celebrated 10 years of sobriety last week. My foundation and motivation for recovery were built and cultivated by the staff at 1st step. I came home to Florida hopeless and due to the programming at this facility, I bought into the process of recovery and became excited about my future. I completed their program and lived in their halfway where I earned a bachelor’s and eventually moved on to get a master’s. Even 10 years later, the groups and lessons I learned at 1st step stick with me. I am eternally grateful for the help and support they gave me. I highly recommend this program!"
