"I recently visited Eyes on Regent Square where Dr. Monroe provided great care with a thorough and professional examination. However, my experience was marred by the administrative staff, particularly Mrs. K. Her unprofessional and dismissive behavior, along with incorrect information and abruptly ending calls multiple times, were disappointing. As an immigrant navigating the health insurance system, I found her handling of my situation challenging. She incorrectly insisted that Express Scripts was a pharmacy, not my prescription coverage provider, and failed to send the necessary prior authorization for my medication X, even after repeated requests. Her indifference to my urgent medication needs, suggesting it was fine to be without it, was alarming, especially as she is not medically qualified. This left me without essential medication for over a week after my appointment on 12/22. After multiple communications, I still have not received the proper treatment. Overall, while Dr. Monroe's care was great, the poor administrative support, especially from Mrs. K, significantly detracted from my overall clinic experience."
