About the Business

Harmony Ridge Golf Club

Harmony Ridge Golf Club

Address: 1280 Breitenstein Rd, Ambridge, PA 15003, United States

Nestled on the ridges of Harmony Township with breathtaking views of the Ohio River Valley, Harmony Ridge Golf Club offers a unique and historic golfing experience. Established in 1923 as the Ambridge Country Club, this distinguished course was designed by Emil Loeffler along with H.C. and W.C. Fownes, and has often been referred to as "Oakmont's Little Brother."

Conveniently located just 16 miles northwest of downtown Pittsburgh and a short 15-minute drive from Cranberry, Wexford, Sewickley, and Moon, Harmony Ridge is an ideal destination for golf enthusiasts of all skill levels. The recent design changes to the course have created a layout that is both challenging and rewarding, staying true to its historic roots.

After a round of golf, guests can unwind at the Outdoor Tiki Bar & BBQ Restaurant, featuring The Swhinery's Award-Winning Barbeque. This year, Harmony Ridge is excited to unveil its new Clubhouse Building with a brand-new restaurant concept, enhancing the overall experience for visitors.

In addition to these amenities, Harmony Ridge is expanding its offerings with the construction of the Villas of Harmony Ridge, an on-property, maintenance-free golf community. This development is poised to make Harmony Ridge a premier destination for both golf and entertainment.

Don't miss out on our special events, such as the Hawaiian Luau Party on Friday, August 30. Tickets are available in advance only, so be sure to click the button for details and secure your spot.

Harmony Ridge Golf Club is steadily becoming the destination of choice for a memorable golf outing and exceptional entertainment. Come experience the charm and challenge of this historic course.

"The worst "golf course" in Pittsburgh. I kid you not this place feels like you are playing an abandoned golf course. First off I get a tee time at 4:00. I show up and you pay for the round at the bar (and they ask you for a tip) and the bartender says "sorry I can't let you go out there's a tournament (HOW TF this course has tournament play I have no idea. Then she finally lets me play and I wish she hadn't. This place does not have fairways, cart paths, tee boxes, and their greens are as fury as a poodle. There are forklifts and piles of trash EVERYWHERE. DO NOT COME HERE."

"Good practice facility. Not busy at certain times where you can play several balls. Weekends are busy with beginner golfers especially on a Sat or Sunday morning."

"First off I’ll start out by saying I know what this course is, I wasn’t expecting greatness to begin with. But if they are going to have a garbage course, they can at least try not to be the rudest people possible. Employee was older guy with long white beard. Booked on GolfNow, showed up and said we had a 920 reservation. His immediate response was “we don’t do reservations”. He knows the course is on GolfNow, so yes they do. He could have just simply asked if it was a GolfNow reservation. After checking in we ordered a bucket of beers, he put them in a bucket and handed them to us without ice. When we asked for ice he said “we don’t have ice”. He then charged us $18 for the bucket of 6. While riding in the cart we noticed an advertisement posted in the cart saying $12.50 for a bucket of beers. At the turn we asked about the advertisement posted in the golf carts and he said, “you only ordered 4 beers”, which made no sense at all. When he realized he was full of it, he then said, “those are last years prices, we technically aren’t fully open yet”. We then asked for this years prices and he said it was $15 for a bucket, which is still less than the $18 he charged for the first one. He didn’t even offer to refund the over charge or discount the second bucket. Lastly, we asked for hotdogs, this was at 1130. He said, “it’ll be 10 minutes, they aren’t ready yet”. We waited 10 minutes and went back up. He said again, “it’ll be 10 to 15 minutes, they aren’t up to temperature yet”. Which again made no sense if they were already heating up the first time we asked. At this point we waited for them out of principle. As for the course, it is what it is. Garage course littered with beer cans."

"Great location for golf for beginners. The bar and restaurant is awesome. Cheap drinks. Great food. Great service. The owners are really trying hard - give them a try. You get what you pay for on the course but it fit the bill for a great day of golf with a drink and food after."
