"We signed a 6 month lease, which was nice that we could so such a short amount of time. The first two months were fantastic! The office manager at the time was very kind and always checked to make sure everything was going well with our unit. Upon moving in we were told that the no pet policy meant anything that had fur, such as cats, dogs, ferrets, etc. We have two reptiles that stay in cages and we asked if that was alright and we were told yes, as their pet policy did not consider reptiles or fish pets. One day the property manager just disappeared and the one of the two maintenance men took over as property manager. We were awoken to five minutes worth of pounding on the door at eight o'clock in the morning. They told us that we were crazy for thinking we could have reptiles in the apartment, even though they had been in the unit multiple times for maintenance and smoke detector checks. They even acknowledged one of the lizards once! They told us if we did not remove them from the property we would be kicked out. So, we ended up taking them elsewhere. They continued to harass us about having an empty cage in the apartment and said that we HAVE to remove it, which I have refused to do. We were also told that the heating was all gas, but we received an outrageous electric bill only to learn that the heating is electric. These people are completely unprofessional, nobody is ever in the office to talk to you and half the time the "property manager" hangs a sign on the buzzer telling prospective tenants to buzz his apartment instead of the office. The phone is constantly ringing with nobody to answer it. I would not, in a million years, recommend this place to anyone. There are several better options in the immediate area. Do not rent here!"
