"We hadn't been to this Park since our kids were little, mid 2000's. So on the weekend of Oktoberfest @ Boardman park, my daughter and I tried to walk our dog there but there were too many scary sounds for the pup! I remembered this place and when we arrived I was amazed; I'd never heard anything in local media about the new paved walking trail. This is a great resource in the Woodworth area! You walk around the entire perimeter of the property, even crossing a bridge -with handrails- through a stretch of woods. There were lovely Mums placed throughout to please the eye. The next weekend my hubby came with me & the dog and he was also impressed."
"Great park for walking. 1/3 mile level walking trail with a small raised boardwalk section. Park board seems a little...protective(?). Had a weird interaction near-dusk where we were harassed by a board member in a minivan about needing to leave while sitting in our car after we just finished walking."
"I love this park! I’m so grateful to have it near where I live. It is clean, safe (has video surveillance) and there is always upgrades being made. It is a wonderful place to walk dogs and bonus they even have free biodegrade bags for easy clean up after your dog. And for those who have kids; there is a playground, covered picnic area, baseball field, tennis court, a community bldg for rent for special occasions and concerts in the stage area. The new walking path is wonderful! Thank you to all the staff, volunteers, and to those who donate to keep this park so beautiful!"
