"I had a truly awful experience getting my wisdom teeth removed here. I believe I was not sedated enough and started coming to consciousness. I threw up in the middle of surgery so Dr. Fernandez had to stop and send me to the ER in case the vomit got into my lungs and I got aspiration pneumonia. While that was scary, what made the experience awful was the way I was treated by staff. They accused me of eating before surgery and tried to shift all blame to me to explain why I threw up during surgery even though I made sure to follow all instructions prior. The staff here refused to listen to me or treat me humanely- instead I had a nurse call me on my way to the ER and berate me, saying that I "clearly could not follow simple instructions". On top of that, in the mail, I get an ER bill for $1150 and am expected to pay out of pocket for this. With the unsuccessful surgery (only able to take out 1 of the 3 wisdom teeth) and their direct referral to a specific ER hospitaI, I had expected that they would have covered it. I had a horrible experience here and I really do not recommend this place."

"The reception staff is conniving. I called 2 days before my appointment to let the staff know I would likely not be able to make it. The receptionist offered some times to reschedule, but they were months later, so I said I would call back later after I had confirmed I would not be able to make my appointment, which the receptionist said was fine. When I did call back to cancel, the receptionist told me that there would be a $100 late cancellation fee. She confirmed that if I had cancelled when I called originally, there would not have been a fee, but because I did not give enough notice, I would be subjected to the penalty. At no point during my original call to cancel the surgery did the reception mention the late fee. There are other great surgeons in the area."

"I am a giant baby when it comes to any kind of dental work, and was terrified of having a wisdom tooth extracted and a biopsy of the site. I let my imagination run wild about how horrible an experience it would be and how miserable I would be recovering. None of the horrible stuff I'd imagined ever happened and I feel just a little dumb for putting it off for so long needlessly. The staff are incredibly warm and comforting and Dr. Fernandez is patient, kind, and reassuring. They helped me feel at ease, though until it was over, I hadn't realized how off point my expectations were. I was sedated, I remember almost nothing except some chuckles at some nonsense thing I said before I passed out. Suddenly I was home having a milkshake in my pajamas feeling totally fine. They even called to check in with me, and everything is healing well. I cannot recommend Dr. Fernandez and his team enough, especially if like me, fear has been keeping you from a procedure you need. I can't believe I can actually say I had a pleasant experience having oral surgery, but here we are."

"3 of my kids had their wisdom teeth removed here and 1 had to have a bone graph and implant done there as well. Great staff. Dr. Fernandez knows his stuff. We highly recommend."

"At age 48 having a wisdom tooth removed is scary. Dr Fernandez alleviated my fears through excellent communication, and openness and willingness to listen. I needed a little extra coddling I’ll admit it and the Dr and his team simply made me feel like family. They made me feel encouraged, and while you’re there you feel like you’re among friends you’ve known all your life. These folks do stressful work! Be kind to them and they will be kind to you. Thank you!!!"
