"I was very impressed with my Hygienist, Diane. She did a very thorough job with my cleaning and I enjoyed the conversation. I had a very unpleasant experience with a dental office in Saline, so I was relieved when Dr. Schmidt examined my teeth after my cleaning and I did not feel pressured to have any unnecessary dental work or procedures as I had experienced at the previous dentist in Saline. I would highly recommend this office and a Dentist you can have confidence in and trust. That’s hard to find these days. Thanks Dr. Schmidt and Diane!"

"While my first visit went great, in my second visit Dr. Schmidt contradicted his own previous statements and was walking away before he even finished speaking to me. On my first visit he told me that I had 1 cavity and 2 spots that he wanted to do some preventative fillings on. I had to wait 6 months to increase my dental plan to be able to do these procedures at a more reasonable cost. When I returned with the increased dental plan, he told me I had 1 more cavity than my last visit, but there were 7 in total and it would take a few visits to take care of this. When I expressed confusion about this contradiction, he seemed annoyed and told me I just had bad teeth, as he was walking away. The hygienist was almost apologetic and made a joke that I just have "groovy teeth." Despite Dr. Schmidt's haste and poor communication, the office staff and both hygienists I saw were extremely nice and went out of their way to help me. It's unclear to me if Dr. Schmidt accidentally miscommunicated with me or if he was just trying to get more money out of me since he knew I wouldn't be a long-term patient (I am a graduating student). Regardless, I don't feel comfortable going back to this office. Follow-up: Second opinion at the dental school (rigorously examined by multiple people) found zero cavities. One previous filling needed repair, that's all. The Senior Dentist said that some spots that looked suspicious on the X-Ray were easily identified as unusual anatomy when he actually looked in my mouth. So glad I didn't get 7 unnecessary fillings..."

"Dr. Schmidt is a wonderful dentist! He pays attention to detail and knows what he is doing. He's the only person i would trust with my teeth. Root canals, crowns and fillings have all been wonderful from him. Tooth shade matching is perfect! I will always refer anyone who needs a dentist to Dr. Schmidt!"

"Dr. Schmidt is the best dentist I have ever been to!! He is passionate about it, and you can tell. He is warm, caring, and very competent. Sadly, we moved out of state and I miss him and his amazing staff so much!! The office is state of the art, and I felt very well taken care of. They made me a bite splint, which I don't know how I lived without. I also had some bonding replaced, and Dr. Schmidt did a beautiful, artful job. I also had a same day crown made, which was super easy and painless. The best dentist and staff ever!!! Miss you guys!!! :)"

"Went to Dr. Schmidt's office for a cleaning and to see about my wisdom teeth that were starting to come in. He and his staff are extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. They took care of all of the paper work with my insurance and sent me the necessary documents needed for a referral to an oral surgeon and additional documentation for my health FSA. I have referred my co-workers to Dr. Schmidt's office without hesitation and would recommend him to anyone in Ann Arbor looking for a great dentist!"
