"I was referred to Dr. Alsaidi by my pain management Doctor after trying physical therapy and suffering from lower back pain for over 7 years. My first visit to his office, I was examined by the nurse practitioner and was ordered to have a ct scan and mri- the images indicated that I was a good candidate for an A-Lif (Lumbar fusion). My pain at the time was really bad, but i had to wait for my surgery date that was booked about 8 or 9 months away. I was prescribed a steroid shot, my insurance first declined to cover it. Dr. Alsaidi office team followed up with my insurance and appealed their decision, they then approved the injection. I felt a big difference in the daily pain and suffering after I received the injection. I was very skeptical about proceeding with the surgery, I requested to change the date of the surgery for about another 6 months later. This will give me time to decide if I want to actually go through with the surgery. My pain started coming back after the steroid injection started warring off, I was back to square one with severe back pain. Trouble even sleeping many nights from the pain. I had my surgery in May, 2023. I was in the hospital for 5 days in total. I was told that the surgery went well, I started to walk about a week after the surgery. My follow up appointment was about 6 weeks after the surgery, by this time I was feeling much better than before surgery. I wasn’t 100%, but my pain levels were closer to 2 out of 10 as apposed to 8 out 10 prior to surgery. I gotten into a car accident about 2 months after my surgery, thank God it didn’t effect my back structure. The accident caused me some pain in the muscles and some spasms. I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, ct scans and X-rays were taken . Dr. Alsaidi confirmed that there was no major damage to my back and instructed me to take it easy and not put my self at risk of getting into any accidents or injuries. He gave me 2 months of time to rest and allow the fusion to take place. I am very happy with the results so far, he did tell me that it will take up to a year for the fusion to complete. I recommend him to anyone that may need surgery, he is very good. I don’t have pinched nerves anymore in my back, my leg used to get numb before surgery. His team and himself were always responsive to my questions and concerns and quick to assist within their capacity. Don’t expect to get norco meds for an extended period of time though, this is a good thing to avoid any type of addiction. Thank you Doctor!!"

"I had been in terrible pain for a year. My PC DR sent me to a pain clinic. Got an MRI, got a bunch of Cortisone shots in my spine. Nothing was working. He sent me to a Orthopedic surgeon that looked at my MRI and said there was nothing to do but lose weight and exercise, and "No pain, no gain" I looked on my own and found a DR of neurology at Beaumont Dearborn. (Dr N. Patel) He saw a spot on the same MRI right away. Got an MRI with contrast, and there was a TUMOR on my spinal cord! He sent me to Dr Alsaidi. He was so good explaining why and how I could have surgery. He never pressured me, but I decided right away YES to surgery. Turns out, after 5 hours of surgery, DR got it all out. It was a benign tumor. I had a hard time the first 2 months after surgery, but I am now almost as good as new and off pain meds. This DR knows what he is doing and was so nice and he gave me my life back!"

"When I say this Doctor and his team were almost godly in my life, I mean it. In the ten years that I've dealt with my issue, they were the most empathetic and most concerned with doing the right thing to end the pain. Today I had my lumbar micro disectomy and while so many stories I've read of recovery had a consistency of horrible pain at the incision site after, I did not.
