Jib Jab Hot Dog Shoppe

"I'm not sure who is running the place but it's pathetic. We ordered our food from a very friendly waitress she got really busy. So another girl picked our food up from the window dropped it off at the wrong table and went to get other drinks. She came back several minutes later and was told that it wasn't their food so she tried to bring it to us at that point. I advised her that we wanted it remade as it had been on another persons table. She took it back with an attitude and came back and told us we had to wait for them to fill all the other orders they had before they would remake it. About 10 minutes lady the friendly waitress that took our order came over and said you still don't have your food, we told her what happened. She said I'm sorry you shouldn't have to wait and went back in the kitchen and made it. As she is making it in the back she's telling the manager who is giving us dirty looks. That waitress went above and beyond and when I tried to generously tip only her she said she could not accept it that it had to be shared among them all per their policy. This waitress is the one who should be running the place. The only one who took action and didn't have to."

"I stopped here on a whim while moving to Illinois to grab lunch, and absolutely LOVED it!! The staff were super friendly, and the atmosphere inside was delightful; you can tell folks really love it! The food was just what I needed. The chili dog was so delicious, as was the regular beef dog, and the fries were just the right crispiness. I'll definitely be stopping by anytime I’m in the area!"

"So at around 8:30 p.m, I left football practice and went to my favorite restaurant. I ordered a large cheese fry, with an extra cup of cheese. And a cheese dog. I paid around $8.50 and they gave me a large cheese fry with no cheese dog no cheese on the large fry and an oily cup of cheese. I don’t want my money back. I just want what I ordered after 3 hours in the hot sun. Not even my dog approves. Let me mention the service and food is usually great. But not this time."

"The hot dog was good, but I like my buns toasted. The two girls outside were doing their best to draw in customers being silly crazy and creative. I was up the road getting gas and saw them. They made me laugh and is the main reason I went there."

"Just good ole fashion yummy chili dogs with fair fries! Yum! The memories from my dad bringing these home for our family of nine growing up! Service was fast with great conversation and the diner feel is exactly what we prefer! It's worth the stop!"
