"Arguably one of the best bars in the city. The owner is one of the nicest people I've ever met who provides amazing service whenever I decide to stop in. The multitude of events Cedars West End has every week keeps the place feeling fresh and fun. Also, LGBTQ+ Friendly!!!"

"Service can be slow when there is only one bartender, but the atmosphere is great and it's a great local bar."

"Cedar's is a jewel in the rough. This small town bar has amazing food, great drink selection, and a funky cool atmosphere. Check out the many live music events including jazz, metal, and my personal favorite, ska. Don't sleep on this place."

"Get there early, pay the $8.00 cover, sit at the very first table, patronize both the bar and the kitchen (had thete been any table service, we would have ordered three or four times as many tacos...) and the pics below are what you get to see. Obviously, the clear view of the stahe was earlier in the evening (although since the shows never start before 10 p.m., there's never really any "earlier in the evening.. ) and the other pic is during the second half of the band's second set (and is representative of the evening right up to the last song.) Maybe if the seating was elevated or the crowd wasn't permitted to stand in front of those drinking and dining in support of the establishment... Oh well, that's the way Cedars West End is run and the owner/management can run it any way they wish... I guess selling three to four more times the amount of food people purchase or ensuring that those who come early enough to get a "front seat" (who just happen to buy food and drinks earlier than if they arrived later) don't matter, then the fact that I go to Cedars West End ONLY when a band I really want to see is there is all the owner/management want. They don't get much of my money because if I go early to get a "good seat," I actually expect to be able to see the band I paid to see and if they don't care to have table service I, blind in one eye and being seriously vision impaired in the other and having problems walking due to nerve damage, etc. am surely not going to walk through the crowd to get to a xrowded bar to wait God knows how long to place an order, will buy significantly less food and drink for myself and members of my party than I would normally buy..."
