Endocrine Associates

"This review is specifically for Dr. Kevin Miller. I had posted this review previously under the listing of him as an individual provider, but it looks like his individual information was taken down and he was bundled into Endocrine Associates and their mostly positive reviews. Gee, I wonder why? Please don’t waste your time trying to see this man. Not only was he rude, he also lacked basic knowledge of his own specialty! I have insulin resistance due to PCOS which is an endocrine disorder and was started on metformin (a diabetic drug) to help treat it by my primary care doctor. Dr. Miller tried to tell me that metformin doesn’t treat insulin resistance. My labs would beg to differ. How does this doctor not know how a very common diabetic drug works when diabetes is one of biggest endocrine disorders there is? He went on to order some labs and told me he would be in contact about the results. My results came back and a month passed without any follow up. I ended up calling the office and sending messages through the online portal several times. The phone was never answered, voicemail messages were ignored, and my messages were never replied to by Dr. Miller. If you are looking for an actual competent endocrinologist that works at Akron General/Cleveland Clinic, I highly recommend Dr. Daniela Ciltea. She is knowledgeable in the specialty, very thorough with testing, and her office staff actually answers their phone. Thankfully, I found her not long after my terrible experience with Dr. Miller and am now receiving competent care."

"If there was zero stars for Dr Kevin miller I would pushed that button. You can’t get a hold of him when the meds for my husbands testerone they don’t make the patches anymore so I messaged him and called his nurse for 6 now going on 7 months now and no one got back to us to change his testerone medicine so he has had no testerone meds in 6 goijng on 7 months!!! First of all two weeks after his blood work it took for the dr to get back to us and the blood work was in within 3 days!!! So we are going back to his old dr Salem at summa health. I do not recommend dr miller to anyone!!!! Ever!!!!"
