"The staff is all very nice but are all running like chickens with their heads cut off. My first visit they were out of labels so I was unable to donate, second visit (first donation)I was there for 3 hours but it went smoothly. Third visit (second donation) the guy inserted the needle and it instantly bruised, he seen removed and poked the other arm, with him both arms bruised terribly which isn't usually an issue I face. 4th visit I was hooked up to donate machine started then the machine went down, Raj apologized said she couldn't move me to a different machine and said I was done for the day. 5th visit the machine wasn't working again, they thought maybe switching the arm would work which I said would be fine then they moved the needle around (and if it was usable before it definitely wouldn't have been after with the way he was twisting and moving the needle) , they were confused on why it wasn't working then ultimately decided they weren't going to try the other arm. This put me in a 56 day deferment in which I would no longer be eligible for the new donor bonus once I return . . . I've never had this issue donating before"

"I started feeling hot and sweaty, before I could say anything Madison came over to me alone with the floor manager, I will give her name, but I can’t remember it at this time, to see if I was okay. I appreciate how attentive and observing they were. I have been coming to this center for about two years it makes me feel comfortable that they know me well enough to see when something is not right. The staff at livonia BioLife rock's. I will recommend this location I not had one unpleasant encounter."

"Please explain, why over the last month or so, I have been unable to get in and out in under 2.5 hours. Today (Sunday) I had a 8:55am appt. I got there at 845 to find 12 people in front of me (just at the screening area), that wasn't including the people in the waiting room that were "new". I travel, for work, and I go to other locations and NEVER have I been at a location as disorganized, slow moving and time consuming as this location. It's a shame no one is doing anything to fix the problem or limit the appointments based on the amount of staff you actually have."

"The staff here doesn't care and moves slower than a turtle. They spend more time talking to each other then doing their job. Each visit, lately, is taking longer and longer. The most recent visit took over 2.5 hours ( It took an hour just to sit down into a chair and then once my donation was completed it took an additional half an hour for someone to come and take me down. I'm not sure how this is considered good practices. If you are that short staffed, limit the amount of appointments you have because 15 people in line at a time is not going to make anyone happy"

"This place is ridiculous! Showed up a half hour early for my appointment. I still had to wait 45 minutes to even be seen by anyone. Then I got my vitals taken and blood tested and sat down at a computer to fill out the questionnaire. So far so good. Except for the waiting part. Then I Head to wait again to speak to somebody even before the physical. Because I told him that I had a seizure 14 years ago it disqualified me from donating plasma even though my primary care provider said that it's no cause for concern. I'm also an army veteran with PTSD as well as depression and anxiety but I'm not on any medication. I was told that before I can even donate I would need to get approved through both of my doctors. I literally spent 3 hours there for absolutely nothing. I am so pissed off at them right now."
