"I would not recommend this to anyone. It is over priced for the amount of weight I needed to lose. i only wanted to lose 25 pounds but wanted to do it in a healthy way so I contacted the clinic. I saw a commercial saying stating to lose weight for $1 per pound. I was originally charged over $300 dollars to start a basic program, plus paid for all the weight loss supplements. I was encouraged to buy the program and how I would not be charge for lifetime etc... I followed the program very close, I started the program was losing weight and was I guaranteed to lose the weight within a certain time limit or money back. I was losing weight but at the end of 7 weeks the clinic wanted me to start the stabilizing part of the program. I said I had not reached my weight goal but was asked to pay even more. They still advertise the following: 1.Once we have taken a medical history and analyzed your body composition, we want to understand your goals. Then we take one of our programs and tailor it for your specific needs. ( I think $300 charge for my needs plus is excessive) 2.At Medical Weight Loss Clinic, we guarantee you will lose the weight by sticking to our program. If you don’t lose the weight, we will extend your program for as long as needed. You will get that guarantee in writing! (what I got in writing quickly changed when I asked for my money back) I finished my weight loss using CLA supplement ($40) I wish I would have used it in the beginning. I believe they use false advertising when they said $1 per pound. I was basically told whatever to get me to sign. Beware!!! Basic low or no carb diet with exercise will achieve the same results."

"Pro's: it works. Simple as that. Follow the diet plan, eat regular foods (but almost guaranteed different than you have been eating), and you will lose weight. This worked for me when all other diet plans failed. The accountability factor (you will have to check in at least 3x a week for a weight check and food journal review) works well to keep you on the straight and narrow. Con's: it's expensive. The protein supplements will run about $40 a week. And that's on top of whichever membership fee you are using. If you add in any additional supplements, the price keeps going up. But the end result is you will lose weight. And if you have struggled with weight loss and are down to your last options before the knife (as I was), this should be your choice."
