"**** Update: 6 days later: Changing the rating to a one star. Sitting here, in registration #2, waiting to get 1 lab drawn. WAITING WAITING AND MORE WAITING. I know you need to capture reimbursement, but this process is a waste of resources and punitive to the patient. FIRST REVIEW- ARCH St- you need to register at the front desk, then wait an absurd amount of time to register again, then re- register at your destination. No such thing as STAT anything! The ER is also the worst healthcare experience I've ever had. Summa is a broken system, practically the only game in town, and the City of Akron deserves better. Invest in your processes and your people, instead of more buildings. It's a real shame, the decline over the years, and CMS needs to investigate. The only redeeming quality is some very kind, overwhelmed staff, doing their best with leadership's nonsense."
