"3 visits since opening. Nice atmosphere, excellent wine choice and drinks. Have tried all three pastas small plates enjoyed them all. Found the squid appetizer to acidity for my taste , the peach not ripe with the burrata. The owner is very receptive to comments, thou I would have liked the peach burrata replaced with something else. Looking forward to going back and trying the numerous course meals with some good wine."

"Beautiful restaurant!!! Lots of local wines to choose from and amazing dessert!!! The bread they serve with roasted garlic cloves is absolutely delicious. Priced very reasonable as well. We sat at the bar and Kelli was awesome!!"

"Was able to visit this new place recently. The food is absolutely wonderful...definitely not standard Italian food - better. The sea scallops in pea puree were tops; perfectly cooked and delicious. The chicken with Caesar salad on top was worth it, but my favorite was the spaghetti with baby clams and njoda sausage. A must visit in this area. There's no restaurant like it."

"We were excited to try out Lago tonight and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere is cozy and the drink selection is excellent. Everything from the table bread with the roasted garlic to the Arancini appetizer and on to the entrees were top notch. Homemade pasta is hard to find and they knocked it out of the park. Very exciting to have another amazing Saybrook restaurant to frequent!"
